Arthur Shattuck O'Keefe
Arthur Shattuck O’Keefe was born in New York and lives in Kanagawa, Japan. His debut novel The Spirit Phone—a tale depicting Aleister Crowley, Nikola Tesla, and the enigma of Thomas Edison's invention of a phone to communicate with the dead—is forthcoming from BHC Press. 

His short story “A Spirited Conversation,” based upon The Spirit Phone, will be published in Suspense Magazine (TBA) and the Fall / Winter 2021 issue of The Stray Branch. His short fiction has also appeared in RagazineManawaker Studio, and Flash Fiction Magazine.

He is a member of the First Draft Club, a small group of writers who meet to assess and encourage each other’s work. Among other projects, he is currently working on his next novel.
